Open Sessions
Open Sessions are a fantastic way for our parents to learn more about their child's course. Parents are invited to attend a session and work through a course while being tutored by their child. This gives the children a great confidence boost as they can show their parents examples of their progress with Explore Learning. It is also a great opportunity to find out more about the other courses we can offer at Explore Learning. You can sign up for any of these workshops at the centre, or alternatively, just give us a ring for more information on 01252 727673.
Open Session dates:
-
Friday 9th July 2010, 6pm-8pm "Bring a Family Open Session" Bring along another family and show them how Explore Learning works. Friends and family can all have a turn using the curriculum. Remember, if you have friends that want to join, you will receive a £5 discount per child!
Explore and Schools
At Explore Learning we work closely with local schools, offering free maths and literacy workshops designed to inspire pupils. These workshops can be held within the classroom or the Explore Learning centre. We have recently worked with the following schools:
"Well paced activities that held the children's attention and in some cases fired an enthusiasm for the subject. They loved it and couldn't wait for a return visit."
Alison Retallick, Deputy Head, Binsted C of E Primary School
"[The children] loved it! They wanted to display their work and share what they had done with their class mates. The pupils enjoyed different staff visiting, with a different activity and a different approach."
Deborah Moore, Gifted and Talented Coordinator, Woodlea Primary School
Due to popular demand we have now extended our schools programme to cover Aldershot, Fleet, Alton, Bordon and Godalming. If you are a teacher in the local area and would like more information on our free workshops, please contact a manager on 01252 727673.
