We have worked with many local schools in Hampton. Recently we have participated in the National Young Writers' Award, receiving a lot of great entries!
What teachers think of our free schools programme...
"Different types of games and paces of activities helped all personalities and abilities to take part"
Mrs Kershaw St James's Primary
"The children were all enthusiastic and fully engaged in the activities"
Mrs Waine, Sacred Heart
Please call us on 0208 979 7117 to find out what literacy and numeracy workshops we can hold for your class or community group.
Members Workshops
Within our centre we hold lots of different workshops to interest and enthuse our members. Over the half term holiday we had a fantastic programme of workshops including Fantastic Mr. Fox and Young Writers. These prompted brilliant pieces of work. Keep a look out for our events over Easter. Places are limited so remember to sign up as soon as possible.
Open Sessions and Coffee Mornings
We also offer the opportunity for parents to visit the centre during one of our open sessions or coffee mornings. Let your child become the tutor and see the work they are covering when they are in our centre!
Centre News
Every month we have a new theme that is designed to inspire our members, and this month is 'Under the Sea!'
We have also visited The Centre in Feltham and The Treaty Centre, bringing our games and challenges into the community!

What our parents think...
"Explore Learning has helped my child to experience learning through a different medium to what is traditionally taught in a classroom environment. The interactive nature of the computer based sessions and the 'lizard card' systems have helped my child to increase his confidence and see real progress in key curriculum areas."
Elizabeth Federer, Explore Parent
"The last parent’s consultation at school before Jack (6) started at Explore was depressing and disappointing, I was told about all the things he wasn’t good at. The recent one was a totally different story. After 3 months at Explore, Jack appears to have come leaps and bounds – I actually left there smiling! He is more confident answering questions in a group situation and his reading has improved so much that he has moved up a level"
Kathy Newport, Explore Parent
'The tutors are patient and they care. The parent consultations are very thorough, insightful and I enjoy being part of the planning for future learning strategies.' Liza Strong, Explore Parent
