The National Curriculum & Explore
Children start school at Foundation level and work through four key stages. At the end of each key stage children are tested to see how well they are doing. (At the end of Key Stage 1,2 and 3 children sit the SATs and at the end of Key Stage 4 they sit the GCSEs).
