Do I have to have experience in marketing?
Whilst it is preferable to demonstrate marketing ability through experience, it is just as important to demonstrate marketing aptitude in the interview process. We are looking for candidates who will, with confidence and passion, be prepared to approach parents, teachers and children in order to market and sell Explore Learning with the aim of increasing the centre’s membership.
Do I have to have professional experience working with children?
We are looking for any kind of experience working with children closely, but this may have been in a voluntary capacity or part time. We will be looking for an ability to both communicate with and motivate children.
Does the location of your interview determine where you will be offered a job?
No. We try and arrange centre interviews to be held in the most convenient centre for you, which may not necessarily be the location that you hope to be located in, in the future.
How long does the recruitment process take?

The length of processing is dependant on your flexibility and availability for interview and centre availability. We endeavour to put people through and notify them as quickly as possible. We hold centre interviews on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. We currently hold one or two Assessment Days at Head Office every month. |
Am I able to defer my application or start date so that I can travel for 6- 12 months?
Yes. Explore opens centres throughout the year. However, your start date will obviously influence location availability according to our centre recruitment needs.
Do you reimburse travel expenses for interviews/ assessment centres?
Our policy is not to refund travel expenses. If you are having any difficulties subsidising your travel then feel free to contact us before you attend your interview. |
