11+ Tuition, Tuesday 7-8pm.
In Leamington, we concentrate on preparing candidates for the Warwickshire papers, while supporting each child as they realise their potential in this often unfamiliar area of study. Our enthusiastic and knowledgeable tutors ensure children are given great insight into how to best prepare for the exams, with a range of techniques explored each week and complemented by realistic exam practice. This inclusive course runs from January to the end of October and is for children in Year 5.
Succeed in Secondary, Wednesday 7-8pm
Running on Wednesday evenings, members from Year 6 and above can come to engage in topical debates, practice researching through a variety of challenging sources, and develop a broad range of presentation skills – all essential as they make the transition between primary and secondary school.
Explore Writing, Wednesday 5.00-6.00pm or Thursday 7-8pm
Explore Writing is the exciting creative writing course open to all members aged 8-14 years old. Exploring a range of writing styles and posing stimulating challenges to stretch every child’s imagination, this course makes creative writing accessible to even the most reluctant authors! Working alongside our tutors, our members craft work they can be really proud of.
Explore Learning and Schools
This term we are continuing our ongoing work with schools in and around the Warwickshire area, with our 2010 National Young Writers Award. Our interactive workshops are a great way of supporting the work our members are doing in the classroom. We have recently enjoyed working with some great local schools including Our Lady and St Terisa, Morton Morrell, Kineton, St Mary's Southam, Newburgh and Whitnash.
If we have not yet visited your school, please call 01926 422800 to request your 2009 event planner.

What our Members, Parents and Teachers think...
"Explore boosts my confidence, and it helps me with my SATs work."
Joshua, Explore Member aged 10.
“Explore really helps me at school because I get better and better and maths and reading!”
Jessica, Explore Member aged 6.
“Explore gives me lots of new things to do. The tutors are always quick to help. I think it is the best club in the universe!”
Jamie, Explore member aged 8.
“Our children enjoyed the good quality teaching delivered in a novel environment. The tutors addressed objectives relating to developing story characters; predicting actions/events; and considering own opinions. Explore fitted in well with work we are currently doing”
Mrs. J. Bailey, KS2 Coordinator, Clapham Terrace.
“The tutors were extremely enthusiastic and funny. The children warmed to them straight away!”
Mrs. C. Collyer, Year 4 teacher, Radford Semele Primary School.
