Charlotte Burke

Assistant Director - Bristol Bradley Stoke

“I have always had a passion and enthusiasm to work with children.  Being able to inspire, challenge and motivate children and knowing you are making a real difference in a child’s life is so rewarding. I love the variety and uniqueness each child can bring on a daily basis, and enjoy building relationships not only with them, but also their parents. I love working for Explore Learning as it provides an exciting learning environment for all abilities. It gives me the opportunity to work with children and enhance their understanding, and develop a real enjoyment for learning. I love the positive atmosphere at Explore and seeing the children’s faces ‘light up’ as they are rewarded with praise, certificates and lizard cards. I find working with children such a fulfilling and satisfying career, knowing you are making a real difference in a child’s life.”

Charlotte graduated from the University of the West of England with a 2.1 (Hons) in Primary Teaching. She has always been enthusiastic about working with children. During her time in University she has taught and volunteered in local schools across Bristol. She also worked as a Maths and English Tutor for Explore Learning at the Cabot Circus centre in which she experienced how beneficial Explore Learning was to the members, not only in academic ability but also in confidence and motivation.  Before Charlotte went to University she was involved in leading and helping out at a variety of children’s holiday clubs and camps during the summer months, and also volunteered in local schools. She is passionate about encouraging children to realise their full potential and increase their confidence in both school and in everyday life.
