Rosa Morgan-Baker

Assistant Director - Merton (London)

“I have always had an active interest in psychology and education; firmly believing that a nurturing and relaxed environment is conducive to child development. Being at Explore Learning has given me the opportunity to work with an exciting, enthusiastic and inspirational team to create such an environment. My role working closely with the children to help them grow not only academically but also in confidence is greatly rewarding; it’s fantastic to see them learn!”

Rosa graduated from the University of Sussex with a 2:1 in Psychology with Cognitive Science. Her love for working with children began while working at a language school for international students. Since then, Rosa has conducted research investigating the diverse learning styles of young children and has enjoyed putting her research to good use.

Max Ernest-Jones

Assistant Director - Merton (London)

“The positive energy that surrounds Explore Learning makes this a truly exceptional concept to be a part of. Coming from a psychology background, I am extremely excited by Explore Learning’s philosophy in encouraging children’s learning as well as stimulating their wider social development. My experiences in education both in the UK and abroad have taught me that children need to be able to progress at their own pace if they are going to develop the self confidence to achieve their full academic potential. Explore Learning realises this by providing a creative and engaging atmosphere where the talented tutors bring learning alive.”

Max graduated from Newcastle University with a 2.i BSc (Hons) in Psychology.  Prior to University, he took the opportunity to teach English at a secondary school in India where he was also heavily involved in the drama and music departments. Whilst studying, Max worked as a Student Ambassador in a low achieving secondary school in order to raise children’s learning potentials and to increase their awareness of higher education options. Upon graduating, he worked for an educational company where he held after-school Science classes in a variety of primary schools throughout Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire. In this role, Max was able to take some time out to travel in South America and work for a children’s charity in Northern Peru where he shadowed an Educational Psychologist and taught English and Maths to children of all ages.
