  • The annual Recognition Awards Dinner at Explore is a fabulous affair, full of glitz and glamour, frocks and bow ties, it is also the scene for our Annual Awards ceremony. You discover that you’ve been nominated by your team and colleagues for our Vision & Values Award…and you win!
  • As a high performer you will be invited to begin your development to work towards becoming a Centre Director. You will be assessed on your performance management skills and leadership capabilities to showcase that you’re ready for your first promotion.

  • Your annual pay reviews continue to reflect your excellent ability and as a really strong Centre Director your bonus potential has increased to a potential of £5720 each year linked to your centres performance and targets.
  • You attend our renowned Train the Trainer course, this residential training enhances your skills in facilitation, training needs analysis and coaching techniques enabling you to become an exceptionally motivated and skilled people manager. You may even be given the responsibility of delivering some of our Head Office face to face training days.
  • Because you’re so experienced and you’re performing fantastically in all business areas you’ve been paired up alongside a Regional Manager to help a new CD ease their transition into their new role.  As a Centre Buddy you can help to nurture them as they progress within the role and you’ll be a great mentor and point of guidance and support to them.

  • You become the CD expert for a Head Office Department where you’ve shown great strength and aptitude, this could be with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Education, People or Retention.  This means that you’ve been nominated by your Regional Manager because you’re a top performer showing specific expertise.  You get thoroughly stuck into various departmental projects, collaborate closely and help to shape and improve centre processes and initiatives.
  • You’re selected to receive mentoring and coaching from our Senior Management and Head Office team.  As part of the many opportunities available for CD’s you get partnered with a super experienced member of our Head Office staff, you can use them for advice and as a sounding board for ideas or difficulties, but you’ll also get supported more in your personal development, you’ll be offered guidance and develop important working relationships to help you achieve your personal and career aspirations.
  • Because you’re a true Explore ambassador you run a session at our company Explore Fest Summer Conference.  This is a brilliant event each year which kick starts a Wellbeing day followed by a learning conference for Centre Directors offering a mixture of workshops to support CD’s with their ongoing professional development.  You’re running sessions throughout the day sharing your experience and knowledge in your area of expertise.
