Christmas Card Competition

 

Here’s your chance to get your design featured as the official Explore Learning e-Christmas Card. 

 

We need your help!

Do you have creative flair?  We need your help to design a fantastic, festive image
for our Christmas e-card.

It’s important that we do our bit for the environment, so we will be continuing our tradition of sending our Christmas card to thousands of Explore families across the UK by email.

Who do we support? 

This year, we are supporting Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity with a £750 donation.

Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity provides specialist nurses and support to seriously ill children and their families. The charity is currently able to support over 24,000 seriously ill children across the UK through their network of 82 Roald Dahl Specialist Nurses. During this difficult year, for many of these families their Roald Dahl Specialist Nurse has been the only person to turn to.

This year, we are supporting Children’s Hospices Across Scotland with a £250 donation.

For over twenty years CHAS have been offering a full family support service for babies, children and young people with life-shortening conditions. This includes palliative care, family respite and support – through our hospices, homecare services and hospital presence.

Submit your design

Terms and Conditions
1. The ‘Christmas Card Competition’ is open to children living in the UK aged between four and Sixteen years old.
2. The Competition will run from 01.12.21 – 14.12.21
3. The competition is open to current members of Explore Learning.
4. To enter the Competition, you must submit your drawing via the form located on https://www.explorelearning.co.uk/christmas-card-competition/
5. When submitting your competition entry, You must provide your parents name, parents email, Childs name, child’s age and centre. We will only use this information in relation to the Competition (including checking your eligibility to enter it) and will not use it for any other purposes whatsoever. We will not keep this information for longer than is necessary for the operation of the Competition.
6. You may only submit one entry to the Competition.
Picking the winners
7. A representative of Explore Learning will choose the featured entries at random.
8. By submitting your entry you agree for the entry to be promoted across Explore Learning’s owned social media channels. Parents and children will not be contacted directly to inform them that their entry has been chosen as a feature.
9. The entries selected to be featured are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Publishing the winning entries
10. The winning entries will be published across Explore Learning’s Social media including but not limited to; Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
11. You own the copyright to your Competition entry as its author.
12. By submitting an entry to the Competition, You give Explore Learning: a. Permission for your entry to be published on Explore Learning’s website and grant Explore Learning a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to republish your Competition entry in electronic format and hard copy for purposes connected with the Competition; and b. The right to use your name, age and town or city of residence for the sole purpose of identifying You as the author of your entry.
Getting consent from an adult
13. Sending in an entry to the Competition means that you accept these Terms and Conditions, which are the rules of the Competition. You should check with your parent or guardian that they are happy for you to enter the Competition based on these Terms and Conditions.
14. By submitting your entry you agree that Explore Learning requires no additional consent from the parent or guardian of the author of a featured entry to publish that entry and the author’s name, age and town or city of residence on Explore Learning’s online channel’s.
The Prizes
16. There are no physical or monetary prizes for this competition.
By submitting you are entering into a chance to be featured across Explore Learning’s social media channels and the overall winning entry will be emailed out on the 24th December as the official Explore Learning 2020 Christmas e-card.
Some other rules
19. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
20. We take no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt.
21. No purchase is necessary.
22. Explore Learning reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this Competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud). The decision of Explore Learning in all matters under its control is final and binding.
23. The Competition will be governed by English law.
24. Entries cannot infringe on any copyrighted characters.
