What happens in KS3?
Key Stage 3 covers years 7, 8 and 9 of secondary school. During these years your child will experience a wide variety of lessons taught by subject specialists. They become independent learners, mastering advanced skills and identifying subjects that they want to take further for GCSE.
Strong subject knowledge in maths and English is really important at this stage and will underpin success in other lessons including humanities and sciences.
