We work closely with each child and their family to understand their individual needs and decide whether our smart learning tools and tutors are best suited to achieving their goals. We currently support around 4000 students with Special Education Needs across our learning centres and online. That's around 15% of our membership.

Parents often tell us that Explore Learning is an environment where their child can learn differently. Some children learn better with our:

With our SEN tuition, we can't guarantee that your child will have the same tutor for every session. However, your child’s needs, preferences and ways of working are shared with all tutors who support them so they can provide a positive and consistent experience. For many children, this gentle introduction to change can also help build flexibility and confidence, which can be beneficial in other learning environments too.

We care deeply about your child and take their safety and well-being seriously during their SEN tuition. All our staff receive regular safeguarding training and have Enhanced DBS/PVG checks. Our centres in England are also registered with Ofsted. Our professional tutors are supervised in centres, and a member of the management team can view sessions taking place online.

Yes. ADHD is included within special educational needs and disabilities. Explore Learning supports many children with ADHD, as well as autism, dyslexia, and other learning differences. Our expert tutors adjust session structure, pacing, and guidance to support focus and engagement.
