Pay
All of our Supervisors and Managers are on a pay scale, with an annual uplift until they reach the highest level. For the Supervisor role, the annual salary starts at £27,000, and for the Manager role, the annual salary starts between £31,250 and £33,750, depending on experience.
London weighting - Salaried staff working in one of our London centres will receive an additional payment on top of their base pay, ranging between £1000 and £3500, depending on how central the location is.
Performance bonus - There will be the potential to earn an additional individual performance contribution based on the commercial performance of your centre. This payment is given twice a year and is £750 for Supervisors and £1250 for Managers.

Christmas off with no need to use annual leave
In addition to your annual leave, Explore is closed from 24th December until 1st January each year, meaning our managers can enjoy time off and don’t need to use their annual leave allowance.

A wellbeing app that can be accessed by all Explore Learning salaried staff. Using recognised psychological strategies and clinically backed methods from Priory Healthcare, the new My Possible Self app will teach you coping mechanisms to handle situations life may throw your way.
Employee Assistance Programme
The EAP provides you with anonymous, confidential mental health and wellbeing support and is available to all supervisors, managers and central team members of staff. Access videos, resources and a 24/7 telephone line for support, which can refer you to telephone & face-to-face counselling.
Health Insurance
Vitality Health makes it easy to get fast access to high-quality care, with rewards for getting active. Supervisors can join Vitality after 5 years’ service at Explore Learning (including time in the tutor role). Managers and Central team employees can join after 2 years in this role.

Payroll giving
We want the process of donating to charity to be as easy as possible, so we have set up a payroll giving scheme. This enables you to give one-off or monthly donations to any charity of your choosing, directly through your salary. Payroll Giving donations are deducted before tax, so each £1 you give will only cost you 80p, and if you're a higher rate taxpayer, it will only cost you 60p.
