What are 11 Plus tuition classes like?

January 11, 2018

Is your child interested in going to grammar or private school? We spoke to our members about their experience of preparing for the 11 Plus exams to help any parents considering extra support. Let’s find out what 11 Plus tuition classes are like

Child preparing for 11 Plus

Charlotte’s daughter, Emma, has been a member of Explore Learning for 12 months and attends our

“Having been for 11 Plus tuition sessions with our son two years ago, and him successfully passing for Sale Grammar School, we agreed that the same exam preparation would be the right choice for Emma too.

The sessions at Explore Learning have taken a huge pressure off us as parents in the preparation for the 11 Plus exam. I, personally, do not have the capacity to support Emma with the current curriculum, so Explore has been invaluable.

The classes have kept Emma grounded and stress-free. Although at times, she has been challenged and doubted her abilities, Explore sessions have kept her confidence levels up and allowed her to comfortably progress. I also think the online 11 Plus resources are fantastic, for the fact we can work together at home.

I love the organisation of the sessions. The staff are friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and eager to help at any time. Their ability to gain the children’s trust and strike up the teacher/pupil relationship on a personal level so quickly is outstanding. I do not doubt our decision to join the centre one bit.

I would totally recommend Explore Learning for 11 Plus preparation. Staff commitment is second-to-none and the work given to us is relevant and delivered in a way that ensures each individual child understands. 10/10 from us!”
