Book a free workshop for your library
We are so pleased to be able to offer an exclusive free workshop to libraries across the UK to inspire children taking part in
The Reading Agency’s Summer Reading Challenge 2022, Gadgeteers.
A trusted partner for libraries across the UK
Over the past 20 years, Explore Learning has worked closely with thousands of community groups. We want to make a positive difference to all children – not just our members.
Together we can actively promote maths and English throughout the community and support the younger generation in developing lifelong skills to help them get the jobs of the future and maybe even help change the world!
How can an Explore Learning workshop benefit your young readers?
We give children the space to unlock their imaginations and discover the magic of words.
It’s about delivering stuff that engages everyone, from the passionate to the reluctant. We champion creativity while delivering specific literacy objectives in a real life context.
Our teams are educational cheerleaders who bring learning to life with every session – they give children the confidence to try, make mistakes and learn from them with a smile.
Explore Learning workshops are simple and hassle-free to host in any library venue as we provide our own staff and resources.
Our staff are expert educators with a passion for learning that makes every session engaging for all abilities.
Submit your details below and a manager from your closest centre will be in touch to discuss a suitable date and time to hold your free workshop!
What does a free workshop include?
We have designed an exclusive workshop that compliments the Gadgeteers, Summer Reading Challenge 2022. This is a complete lesson accessible to all young learners delivered by our education centre managers. It has been mapped to the curriculum with literacy objectives. We provide all the resources necessary for the lesson.
Our managers will arrive 15 minutes before the start of the workshop to set up. We will provide children with workshop booklets and an invitation to our tuition centre to take home.
Are Explore Learning representatives DBS checked and Safeguarding trained?
Yes. All our staff hold enhanced DBS and receive annual safeguarding training.
How can we offer our services for free?
Our work with schools forms part of our mission to inspire a generation of fearless learners.
Workshops are a great way for us to build a relationship with local teachers so they understand the quality of our learning materials and the credentials of our education centre managers. Our main revenue stream comes from our tuition service paid for by parents. Workshops help us to raise awareness amongst the school community of our after-school tuition programme. We will send a letter or flyer home to children who took part in the workshop to let parents know what we did and how to find out more about our services.
