Step 1: Book your free tutoring trial session
To book your free trial session for you and your child online visit our website then select the ‘Get Started’ button. From there it couldn’t be easier:
Start by choosing which subject your child needs tuition for
Choose an online free trial, where you’ll meet a tutor virtually, or an in-centre free trial where you’ll be able to find your nearest centre to meet us in person
Select a date and time that suits you! Can’t find a suitable date? Don’t worry, just request a callback and we’ll be in touch to arrange a time that works for you
Finally, let us know why you’re looking to start tuition so we can tailor your child’s journey from the moment you come in for your free trial!
Step 2: Speak with us before your free trial
Once you’ve booked your free trial, one of our centre managers will be in touch over the phone to introduce themselves, get to know you a little better and confirm the time of your free trial.
Getting to know our families helps us do what we do best: providing a tailored tuition experience that will help your child unlock the joy of learning! So we’ll use this step to find out a little bit more about your child, their personality and interests, how they like to learn and their goals! The more you tell us, the better we can tailor your free trial and ongoing tuition experience to your child’s needs.

Step 3: Your free trial session – What you and your child can expect?
Whether your free trial is online or in-centre, our professional tutors will be here to give you and your child a warm welcome.
So what can you expect from your free trial?
Your free tutoring trial will last for an hour, and we’ll invite you and the whole family to stay and see the experience we offer at Explore Learning
We’ll discuss your individual goals with you and your child. Dream big and let us know what you both want to achieve!
We will show you how we can meet your short-term learning goals and make a long-term plan for their progress with us
Your child, or children (siblings are welcome to attend their free trial together), will have the opportunity to work alongside one of our team to experience our professional tutoring, our adaptive curriculum and to get a feel for our engaging learning experience
See our professional tutors in action, how our smart learning tools work, and understand what your child will be learning and what their sessions will look like
With our smart learning tool, your child will go through different questions mapped to the national curriculum to begin tailoring our tuition to their individual needs
You’ll learn how we support you and your child along the way by tracking and demonstrating your child’s progress
During your free trial, we’ll show you how we help your child unlock the joy of learning, help that start right away and show you why you can trust us!
After your free trial session – you choose how and when to join
We’re confident you’ll love the experience we offer from your free trial session, and lots of families decide to join up on the day. Or, if you prefer, you can join online or give us a call after your trial to enrol your child.
Once you’ve decided we’re the right choice for you and your child, simply choose when you’d like your child to start, the regularity of sessions, the days and times you’d like your child’s sessions to be. We’ll agree on your child’s Fearless Learning habit so their tutor knows how to make the most out of their sessions, and we’ll book your first progress meeting to see how your child is doing.

We’ll also discuss payment when you decide to join us - our families pay monthly via direct debit, so we’ll need to take credit or debit card details. You may be eligible for financial support for in-centre memberships, so ask us if you want more information.

Yes, you can reschedule or cancel the trial session. Simply cancel or reschedule following the link in your confirmation email or get in touch with your selected Explore Learning centre, and they will support you in making any necessary changes.
Is there an age limit for the trial session?
Our programs are designed for children aged 4 to 16. The trial session is suitable for children within this age range.
What happens after the trial session?
After the trial session, our team will discuss their recommendations and enrollment options with you. There is no obligation to join; it's entirely your choice.
