Meet Adie Pascual

Part Time Tutor

It’s been quite a while since I received the accolade of Tutor of the Year and this has been my greatest achievement to date! Plus, staying with the company for over 4 years now and becoming a Tutor Supervisor, which was an exciting opportunity for someone who has been a tutor for a while!

Currently I am a BSc Psychology student in City University London in my last year of study, it’s an incredibly busy time of the year. However, I still find the time to work at Explore because I love how the tutor role makes me feel as an individual and an employee. Firstly, one of my passions is working with children with the belief that our investment in them is truly what matters because they are the future and I think most of us want to leave the world a better place. Explore Learning does not fail to always keep my sights on that goal to give children the best tutoring and mentoring that I could give, to make a difference in their everyday lives. A shift at Explore leaves me feeling like I have done something good in the world! Furthermore, I have been truly lucky to have worked with some great teams, managers and other tutors, that make the Explore experience great. Not forgetting the kids, the stars of the show!

I am interested in becoming an Assistant Director and have started the application, however I am still in the process of finishing it. What attracted me the most is the variety of skills that you get to learn in the role, clear career development steps and the close contact with the kids. I have worked in three branches, Hounslow, Whitechapel and Nine Elms, all when they were launching and would love to learn more about how to run a successful business and how to keep it going.
