What is the Gloucestershire Grammar School Consortium?
Seven selective grammar schools from the Cheltenham, Gloucester, and Stroud areas form the Gloucestershire Grammar School Consortium. The schools in the Gloucestershire Grammar School Consortium all use the same test, which means that children applying to any of these schools only need to take the 11 plus test once.

How to register for a place in Gloucestershire Grammar School Consortium?
Each school in the Gloucestershire Grammar School Consortium is responsible for their own admissions into Year 7. You must register for the 11 Plus entrance exam directly with the school via their website. You will also need to submit a Common Application Form to your local council and list your preferred schools.

The 11 plus exam for the Gloucestershire Grammar School Consortium is provided by the GL exam board and will cover:
The exam consists of two multiple choice papers, each lasting approximately 45-50 minutes.
One test covers English and Verbal Reasoning, while the other covers Mathematics and Non-Verbal Reasoning (including Spatial Reasoning).
