What is the Kent Grammar School Consortium?
There are 32 selective Grammar Schools in the Kent Grammar Schools Consortium. All schools in the consortium use the same test, which means that children applying to any of these schools only need to take the 11 Plus test once.

How to register for a place in Kent Grammar School Consortium?
To register for the Kent Grammar School Test (also known as the PESE), you will need to fill in the online application form via the Kent County Council website.
You will also need to submit a Common Application Form to your local council and list your preferred schools.

The Kent Grammar School Consortium assessment
The Kent Grammar School Test for the Kent Grammar Schools Consortium is provided by the GL exam board and will cover:
The exam is completed over two papers. There is an English and Mathematics paper, which takes 60 minutes, and a reasoning paper, which also takes approximately 60 minutes.
There is also a 40-minute writing task, which does not form part of the 11 plus result, but is used for borderline or appeal cases.
