What is The Trafford Grammar Schools Consortium?
Five grammar schools in the Greater Manchester area form the Trafford Grammar Schools Consortium. All schools in the consortium use the same test, which means that children applying to any of these schools only need to take the 11 plus test once. Loreto Grammar School and Saint Ambrose College are not part of the Trafford Grammar Schools Consortium, and have their own entrance tests.

How to register for a place in The Trafford Grammar Schools Consortium?
Each school in the Trafford Grammar Schools Consortium is responsible for their own admissions into Year 7.
You must register for the 11 Plus entrance exam directly with the school via their website.
You will also need to submit a Common Application Form to your local council and list your preferred schools.

The 11 plus exam for the Trafford Grammar Schools consortium is provided by the GL exam board and covers:
The exam consists of two papers, each lasting approximately 60 minutes and testing all three areas. All questions are multiple choice.
