Explore at Home is listed as one of ‘the best online home learning resources for children’ by Mumsnet

April 16, 2020

We are proud to have been listed as ‘Best for home learning’ by Mumsnet, as part of their search for the best online home learning resources for children.

With the majority of children unable to go to school due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Mumsnet shared the details of websites that are best equipped to support children with their learning. The list features the ‘most innovative, well-designed and widely-used sites, according to Mumsnet users’ with Explore Learning being named Best for home learning – thanks to our one-to-one online tutoring programme, Explore at Home.

Our mission to support children by nurturing the skills and attitudes they need to become confident, fearless learners who are hungry for knowledge, was highlighted by Mumsnet as ‘traits we can certainly get on board with.’

We’re proud to have held over 41,000 1:1 online learning sessions with our wonderful members across the U.K in the two weeks since our launch of Explore at Home on 25th March. We are very pleased with how our families have responded to them.

How it works

Sessions take place online, allowing children access to their individualised learning courses. Their expert tutors will be on hand to provide one-to-one support throughout these online sessions, as well as unlimited access to their individualised learning course, wherever they are.

Explore supports the whole family with access to an exclusive members area full of parent advice, activities, videos and more.

Together, we believe we can all make these next few months an enriching and enlightening experience for us all. And together, we will keep education going.
