Roald Dahl charity weekend

October 24, 2016

Explore Learning centres up and down the country had a fun-packed weekend of fundraising for Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity!

Roald Dahl Charity Dress Up Day

There were some excellent Roald Dahl-themed costumes on show – a great example is the team from our Epsom centre (above) whose fancy dress included a golden ticket and Fantastic Mr Fox!

We were so impressed with the effort everybody put in to the Roald Dahl charity weekend, we loved seeing the brilliant BFG, Mr Twit and Matilda costumes at our Bracknell and St Albans centres!

There were also plenty of fun and creative fundraising ideas such as this delicious looking bake sale at our Stourbridge centre, and Miss Trunchball herself was watching over some tasty treats at our Shirley centre!

Meanwhile in Bristol, the team and members from our Emersons Green centre took part in a bag packing event at Sainsbury’s to raise money, with a target to reach £600. They all did such an amazing job that they smashed their goal and went above and beyond £600!

Fundraising for charity
A big well done and thank you to everyone who took part in the Roald Dahl charity weekend, some fantastic efforts to raise money for such an excellent cause!
