Summer photo competition winner announced!

September 12, 2018

We asked our members to share the ways they were seizing the summer with a fun photo competition, and we have a winner!

Seizing the summer photo competition pictures

The summer holidays are a time for relaxation and spending time as a family, but it’s also a great time to have fun with learning! We challenged families to send us photos of them seizing the summer to be in with a chance of winning £150 worth of high street vouchers.

We received so many wonderful photos showing the activities our members have been up to, from posing in front of a statue of Pythagoras to learning to rock climb! They really inspired us to get out there and be fearless learners.

But there could only be one winner… The photo that stood out to us was sent in by Sarah Dauncey‘s mum Liz who is a member at our Bournemouth centre. Congratulations Sarah!

Sarah’s photo just goes to show that you can enjoy a book anywhere – even while riding a horse!

Here’s what Sarah had to say about her winning photo: “The best thing I did all summer was riding my ponies: Spotty, Becky and Corri! This summer I learnt how to let go of the reins whilst trotting.”

Thank you to everyone who took part in our #SeizetheSummer competition, we loved seeing all your photos! Keep an eye on our social media channels to hear about more fun challenges!
